Job Vacancy: Network Product Specialist

The role comprises the following main areas of responsibility

Sales Support

  • Work with Sales to provide onsite / remote demonstrations of all products within current networking product range
  • Provide detailed technical schematics / narratives for proposed networks
  • Provide training on features / benefits / applications for our current networking product range
  • Pre-configure hardware / software within digital signage and video networks
  • Liaise with customer IT dept to ensure correct infrastructure is in place for proposed network solutions

Service Support

  • Assist Service Dept in support of existing network/control product range
  • Provide first line support for Signage end-users
  • Provide training to Service Dept on network/control products

Internal IT Support

  • Provide software and hardware support for internal IT systems
  • Co-ordinate support with 3rd party IT support company
  • Setup new clients & users through Active Directory
  • Proactively suggest and implement improvements to IT systems

Job Vacancy: Technical AV Designer

Due to a commitment to the expansion of the key 'Project' element of the business and increasing development of working relationships with strategic partners the following vacancy has become available:

Detailed Requirements

The fundamentals of the role are to respond and compile quotations, narratives and supporting documentation from a verbal or written brief as well as responding to tenders. Would ideally suit an experienced former Project Manager or Technical Sales individual. There will be the requirement to visit customer sites.

Requirements of the role are a thorough and proficient understanding of the following Key elements:

  • A Minimum of 3 years technical background in audiovisual projects
  • CTS Qualification preferred but not essential
  • An in-depth knowledge of all aspects of AV Projects from inception to completion
  • An in-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure when related to audiovisual integration
  • Providing the technical element of a response to an Invitation to Tender
  • Producing a priced Bill of Materials, Scope of Works, CAD drawings and other supporting documentation as dictated
  • The ability to develop a design from a written brief

The role requires knowledge of a vast range of AV product areas including, but not limited to:

  • Display technologies
  • Switching and routing equipment
  • Control systems and associated user interfaces
  • Audio systems both analogue and digital
  • Video and Audio Conferencing
  • Twisted Pair and Fibre signal distribution
  • Digital Signage
  • Satellite and terrestrial broadcast reception equipment

Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the following software packages:
