Climate-KIC is a Europe wide not-for-profit initiative. It aims to speed up the innovation needed to create a low-carbon economy. It operates through a Europe-wide network of partners.
With twelve sites within five national centres across Europe, Climate-KIC had a requirement for a fully serviced video conferencing infrastructure to help their partners successfully communicate and collaborate.
Within very tight timescales, Reflex site surveyed multiple sites, designed, specified and installed the video conferencing systems. Collating the information for the proposal, which involved visiting every site, was completed in two weeks. From tendering to completion of the installation took just five months.
Delivering the project called on all of our strong resources – technical knowledge, project management and very importantly, Video Doctor expertise.
The project met Climate-KIC’s objective of reducing the time spent flying to different end-point sites around Europe for all their partners:-
- To save money
- To save time, as each of Climate-KIC’s partners also have a ‘day job’
- To bring their strategy into line with their ethos i.e. carbon reduction
It also gave Climate-KIC the means to deliver their Education Programme to their network of partners.
